The Gold Coast CATS Cycling Club wishes to recognise the club members who performed with merit at the recent Sizzling Summer series conducted by Logan City Cycling Club. In particular, our "2008 Rider of the Year” Mark Brady (Masters A) finished 2nd overall for the four race series with a victory in Race 3.

Other riders to perform with distinction were Harold Hetherton (5th Masters A), Patrick Oldham (5th Masters C), Kyle Bateson (6th Mens A). Top 10 finishes in individual races throughout the series were also achieved by Matt Werrell (Mens A) and Geoff Willmot (Masters B). Other riders who sported our colours were Club Captain Nathen Berghammer, Garry Elliott, Michael Hosking, and Lisa Drew. All riders have indicated that the event facilitated by Logan Cycling Club was of an excellent standard and congratulations must be passed on to the organisers for the selection of such an outstanding venue and the effort in running these events back to back for four weeks.
