Mike Johnson and his family had a very narrow miss this afternoon when a slip occurred on the Springbrook road crushing part of their car and blocking the vehicle. Mike and his wife led their family away to safety. 

We wish Mike and his family our best. With the hills sodden with rain warnings of more slips have been posted, please be careful.
